Accounts Manager (Accountant) – Aged Care
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Accounts Manager is responsible for the accurate preparation of monthly accounts, financial and non-financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, financial audits and compliance.
- Financial Reporting activities for Residential Homes, Retirement and Home Care
- Supervising a small team of accounts and reception support staff
- Managing the annual external audit processes and work programs
- Preparation and lodgement of relevant financial reporting Information with the relevant Regulatory Bodies
- Provide financial analysis, information and support the various internal departments as requested.

Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification in Accounting
- Satisfactory National Criminal History Record check
This is a full time Monday to Friday position, with scope to negotiate school hours if required. Village Baxter is a not for profit, public benevolent organisation, and offers salary packaging incentives for permanent staff.

SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUP – PERSONAL CARER / ADMINISTRATION
The Village Baxter Social Support Group (Day Centre) provides a regular social opportunity for Village residents and those from the Peninsula Community. The Day Centre staff take clients on outings but there is plenty of entertainment at the club. With word games to keep their minds active, craft to keep them creative, ball games to keep their hand and eye coordination in check, gentle gym exercises, entertainment and movies.
We currently seek a Personal Carer / Lifestyle Assistant / Administrator to work four days per week as follows:
Mondays to Wednesday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Thursday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Monday is the Administration shift with Tuesday to Thursday being the PCA shift.
The successful applicant will have a strong desire to help others, the ability to work alone, good administrative and communication skills, a commitment to excellence in customer service and the ability to relate well to people of all ages, your own car and a current drivers licence. A requirement is to drive the 12-seater bus.
Personal Carers must have a minimum Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or an appropriate related qualification.
Experience in an Aged Care/Lifestyle/Activities environment is essential.
